Breadcrumb Home Changements climatiques Les changements climatiques et la santé Depuis près de 20 ans, l’Institut national de santé publique du Québec documente les impacts des aléas du climat changeant sur la santé des Québécoises et des Québécois. Pensons à la hausse des décès liée aux vagues de chaleur et aux impacts psychosociaux des inondations. Les phénomènes associés aux changements climatiques entraînent également une augmentation des problématiques cardiovasculaires, respiratoires, infectieuses, entre autres. Tout comme les coûts de santé et de services sociaux qui en découlent. L’action climatique, que ce soit par l’adaptation ou la réduction des émissions de gaz à effet de serre, constitue une opportunité pour améliorer la santé et la qualité de vie des populations, particulièrement des plus vulnérables.
