Creatinine: Interlaboratory Comparison Program for Measurement of Serum Creatinine
The Serum Creatinine Program was created in 2013 by the Centre de toxicologie du Québec (CTQ) in cooperation with the SQBC. The objective of this program is to answer the need of hospital laboratories to improve the precision of their serum creatinine measurements when evaluating the glomerular filtration rate.
The program includes four rounds per year, each containing five PTMs.
The assigned values are determined using a reference method (IDMS).
