Surveillance, prevention and control of infectious diseases
In terms of surveillance, prevention and control of infectious diseases, the Institute offers integrated programming to respond to emerging problems from a perspective of collective public health action against infectious risks. More specifically, vector-borne diseases, enteric and non-enteric zoonoses and antimicrobial resistance are issues in which the INSPQ is seeking to optimize its expertise. Our services for assessing situations presenting infectious risks are being extended to other workplaces, including childcare centers.
