This document presents interim recommendations for the food processing industry. These COVID-19 preventive measures in the workplace will be adapted according to the epidemiologic situation in each region. In order to protect the health of employees and of those who come into contact with the workplace, employers and workers are asked to respect the guidelines given to workers.

These recommendations take into account the importance of maintaining the essential food production chain while aiming at optimal protection of workers. These measures apply when sustained community transmission has been confirmed by public health authorities.
