Environmental Health

The physical and natural environment has a direct impact on human health, whether through water, air, soil, or environmental noise. Environmental degradation increasingly exposes the population to a multitude of risks to health and well-being. Climate change also affects health, disproportionately affecting certain population groups.

The way we occupy this environment influences our health. Housing conditions, transportation infrastructure, land use planning, and the built environment as a whole affect citizens' quality of life. Some of our activities can emit contaminants and non-ionizing radiation, such as electromagnetic fields. These activities also raise health concerns.
