Sneezing and hiccups in newborn

Sneezing

It’s normal for your baby to sneeze. Because the hairs inside their nose haven’t grown enough, your baby may sneeze up to 12 times a day to eliminate secretions that interfere with their breathing. It’s not because they have a cold.

Hiccups

Your child may also get hiccups, especially after feeding. This isn’t serious. Hiccups don’t hurt your baby and will stop by themselves after a few minutes. If you breastfeed, putting your baby back to the breast may calm their hiccups.
