 Perinatal mortality rate, Québec, Canadian provinces and Canada, 2007

In 2007, Québec had one of the lowest rate of perinatal mortality in Canada with Nova Scotia and British Columbia. Manitoba posted the highest level of perinatal mortality.

Methodological note:

1. Perinatal mortality rate reflects the probability that a viable foetus be stillborn or die before the end of the first week of life (Statistics Canada and CIHI, 2005).
